What the Ventracard is

The Ventracard is a business card that lives in Apple Wallet on your iPhone. It shows your photo, your name and a large QR code.

Someone scans the code with their phone camera and lands on your LinkedIn profile. They need no app and install nothing. You do not have to spell your name or search for each other.

What is on it

• The Ventranet mark at the top.
• Your photo, round, with your name under it.
• The code, in a white square at the bottom.

That is all. No job title or phone number, no text to keep up to date.

Why only LinkedIn

The code leads to one place, and it has to be one that stays current without you. Your LinkedIn already does. The card accepts addresses on linkedin.com and lnkd.in, nothing else.

Your card page

Every card also has its own page at ventranet.ch/ventracard/k/… with your name, your photo, a link to your LinkedIn and the button to add the card to Wallet. Anyone with the link can open it, but search engines do not list it. Keep the link. It is how you get back to your card.

The Ventracard is an Apple Wallet pass. There is no version for Google Wallet.
