How events get onto Ventranet

Ventranet lists business, startup and networking events in Switzerland. Nobody can add an event on their own, and nobody pays to appear. A person reads every event before it goes live.

The four steps

1. 01We find it. We follow organisers, venues, communities and their newsletters.
2. 02We check it. Is the organiser credible? Is there real value in going, and for whom? Would we tell a colleague to go?
3. 03We put it in order. Date, format, cost, place and category go into the same structure for every event, so you can compare them.
4. 04It goes live with a direct link to the organiser. No middleman, no markup.

Where the details come from

From the organiser's public announcement and website, and sometimes from material the organiser sends us. Software helps us read the details off an event page. A person checks them before anything is published.

Prices and times are the organiser's. They can change, so check the organiser's page before you go.

What you will not find here

Paid placements, events scraped in bulk, or events we would not go to ourselves. That is why the list is shorter than a calendar of everything.
