Filter the list

Six filters, all at once if you like. Every option shows how many events it would leave.

On Events the filter sits above the list. Each choice applies the moment you make it. There is no Apply button, and you can pick several options in each group.

FilterWhat it does
CategoryNetworking, Seminars, Webinars or Workshops, as four pictures.
LocationA map of Switzerland and a list of the cities with events. Choose one or several. None means the whole country.
FormatIn person, Hybrid or Online.
PriceA slider over bars that show how many events cost how much. Drag the two handles, or pick Free, Under 50, Under 100, Under 200 or Any price.
SectorFintech, AI, Legal and the rest, with a search field. An event can sit in two sectors and is found under both.
HostThe organisers, as logos, with a search field. An event counts for its co-hosts too.

The numbers on the options

Every option shows how many events you would see if you chose it, with everything else you chose kept as it is. An option that would leave nothing is greyed out, so you never end up with an empty list. Inside a group the choices add up: Zürich and Bern shows both cities. Between groups they narrow: Zürich and Workshops shows workshops in Zürich.

What is chosen

On a computer, the groups are on the left and each says what is chosen in it. At the foot of the field, everything you chose appears as blue chips: click one to remove it, or Clear all. The button beside them, such as Show 12 events, takes you down to the list.

On a phone, the four kinds of event sit as buttons next to Filters. Filters opens a sheet with every group; the button at its foot says how many events you will see.

Sorting

By date is the default, soonest first, with a heading for each month. You can also sort by time of day or by price, in either direction.

Good to know

  • Summits and conferences count as Seminars. A seminar held online counts as a Webinar.
  • An event appears under its city if that is one of the 20 hubs. Otherwise it goes to the nearest hub.
  • One city or one sector on its own gives the list its own address, like ventranet.ch/events/in/zurich, which you can bookmark or share.

Still not sure? Write to admin@ventranet.ch, or ask about an event. A person answers.
