Tim Duehrkoop

Tim Duehrkoop is co-founder and CEO of Xilva, a Zurich company that assesses forest and other nature-based projects for investors. Founded in 2021 with Jamie Lawrence, Xilva offers independent due diligence, grading and monitoring for such projects. In 2023 it raised USD 1.8 million in pre-seed funding from investors including Brainforest and Bloomsbury Natural Capital.

Before Xilva he spent many years at the Swiss digital consultancy Namics, as one of its early partners and an executive. He helped it grow from seven employees to about 550 before dentsu acquired it in 2018. He also founded TEDxZurich and invests in B2B software companies as a business angel.

Duehrkoop began with a bank apprenticeship and worked as a credit analyst. He holds a master's degree and a PhD in business from the University of St. Gallen.
