About Thomas

Thomas Vettiger co-founded the Zurich advisory firm IFBC in 1997 and is its managing partner. He leads its corporate finance and M&A advisory work, domestic and cross-border, and advises large companies, entrepreneurs, private equity investors and law firms on acquisitions, mergers, sales and succession. He also sits on IFBC's board.

Since 2015 he has been a member of the Swiss Takeover Board. He chairs the board of the listed real estate company Investis Holding, where he has been a director since 2016, and sits on the boards of Globalscope and Real Fund Management, which he chairs. From 2005 to 2015 he was on the board of Clientis, latterly as vice chairman and head of the audit committee.

Vettiger studied at the University of St. Gallen and holds a doctorate in finance from the University of Zurich, where he lectures at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics.
