About Risto
Risto Väyrynen is the founder of The Impact Office, a Geneva-based network of more than 60 family office principals who want to steer private capital towards social and environmental impact. He set up the company in Geneva in 2022 and also hosts its annual House of Impact gathering in Helsinki.
He chairs Leipomo Väyrynen, a bakery company in Helsinki. From January 2020 he led the Family Business Community of the World Economic Forum in Geneva. Earlier he was managing partner of a Geneva investment firm.
He has been active in the Family Business Network for many years. He served as deputy chair of its next-generation working group for seven years, helped start its Polaris initiative on sustainability and sits on its Council of Wisdom. He is also a co-founder of unFAIR Capital SA and holds a Family Business Executive MBA from EDHEC.
