Ralph Mogicato sits on the board of SICTIC, where he represents the investor community. He works as an entrepreneur and independent senior adviser through his company Hixon in Zurich.
He co-founded the consultancy Synpulse and led it as CEO; by 2017 the firm had grown to more than 350 employees. Over more than 25 years in the financial industry in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Singapore, with a focus on banking and insurance, his work has covered strategy, business planning, software evaluation, quality assurance for large projects and building new business units.
He invests in and advises tech start-ups, mainly in B2B fintech and insurtech, among them Starmind, unblu and Contovista. He also lectures at the University of Zurich and at universities of applied sciences and sits on the advisory board of the University of Zurich's Department of Informatics.
