About Philip
Philip Hitschler-Becker is CEO of hitschies, the confectionery company from the Cologne area, and represents its fourth generation. He joined the family business in 2017 and has led it since then.
Under his leadership the company renamed its brand hitschies in 2021 and became a digital candy brand known internationally for its social media presence, with Hitschler-Becker himself acting as a corporate influencer. Based at the hitschies Campus in Hürth, the company makes fruit gums, chewy candies and effervescent sweets and sells them in markets from Japan and South Korea to Austria.
Before joining hitschies he worked at Danone in Munich and at Iglo in Hamburg. He studied business.
