About Pascal
Pascal Miéville has been operational director of the Swiss Cat+ West Hub at EPFL since 2020 and holds the title of maître d'enseignement et de recherche (MER) there. His work focuses on education and research programmes in self-driving laboratories and data-driven chemistry, carried out with industry and international academic partners.
Earlier at EPFL he developed and managed the NMR platform and taught NMR at master's and doctoral level. He also advises companies on laboratory automation projects and is vice-president of the CCCTA, the competence centre for analytical chemistry and toxicology.
Miéville studied chemistry at the University of Geneva and EPFL, earned an MSc in physical chemistry and completed a PhD on hyperpolarised NMR spectroscopy under Geoffrey Bodenhausen.
