Nicolas Loeillot

Nicolas Loeillot works on new business models and innovation at CSS, where he runs the Future of Health Grant that CSS and EPFL Innovation Park launched in 2022.

He spent about 20 years in business in Japan. After working in R&D at Accenture, he founded a computer vision and AI company in Tokyo in 2003. It carried out hundreds of projects for large companies in Japan, Asia and the United States, was an early user of cloud-based deep learning and was acquired in 2017 by one of the large US tech companies.

In 2018 he joined Groupe Mutuel as director of innovation. In 2021 he co-founded Tech4Eva, a FemTech accelerator set up by Groupe Mutuel and EPFL Innovation Park, and co-directed it. He has served as an expert for Innosuisse and invests in deep tech start-ups as a business angel.
