About Mirjam
Mirjam Bamberger is CEO of the Swiss health insurer CSS. She took over in 2026 from Philomena Colatrella.
She brings more than 20 years of experience in insurance and financial services, most of it in the international AXA Group. There she was CEO of AXA Luxembourg and of AXA Wealth Europe and sat on the executive board of AXA Switzerland as head of customer and strategy. Before moving to CSS she belonged to the management team of AXA European Markets & Health. She has also served on the boards of several insurance companies.
She holds an Executive MBA from IMD in Lausanne and a master's degree from the University of Cologne, as well as a diploma from the Swiss Board School.
