Matthias Gietzelt

Matthias Gietzelt is Head of Investment Management at Söderberg & Partners Wealth Management in Sweden. The unit he co-leads was formed in August 2020, when the firm merged product analysis, market analysis and portfolio management into one team. He shares the lead with Kajsa Brundin.

He was already with the firm in 2015 and 2016, when he was responsible for market and equity analysis. In that role he presented its strategy reports, on topics such as low interest rates and when to cut US equities.

Today he is one of the regular voices of "Veckoanalysen", the firm's weekly market podcast. Recent episodes deal with interest rates, earnings seasons, technology stocks, central banks and geopolitics.

His work centres on the firm's market and portfolio analysis, with a focus on interest rates, central banks and the balance between equities and bonds.
