Marko Denadic

Marko Denadic is general counsel and chief compliance officer of Burckhardt Compression, the Winterthur-based maker of reciprocating compressors. He leads the company's global legal and compliance function, advises executive management and the board on governance and risk, and serves as corporate secretary. His work focuses on cross-border transactions, sanctions and compliance frameworks that hold up across jurisdictions.

He has more than 20 years of international experience in construction, energy and industry. He began as legal counsel at OMV Gas & Power, working on gas logistics including LNG shipping. He then moved to STRABAG, where he headed the international legal department and was managing director of the group company CML Construction Services, covering construction law, international arbitration, dispute resolution, compliance and corporate finance. He later served as STRABAG's director of international legal.

Legal 500 has included him in its GC Powerlists for Central and Eastern Europe, Austria and Switzerland.
