About Marco
Marco Rüedi is an accredited start-up coach for Innosuisse. He also coaches founders for the Fondation pour l'Innovation Technologique (FIT) and EPFL Innovation Park, where he has been active since 2016, and at FONGIT in Geneva. In 2021 FIT put the number of start-ups he worked with at 50 to 60 a year, and at around 220 when his roles as juror and mentor for programmes such as MassChallenge and Venture Kick are included.
He brings more than 20 years of international experience in life sciences and healthcare management. He worked for about ten years in the pharmaceutical industry at Sanofi, then for a medical device company in Geneva, and co-founded a pharma company at EPFL, which he led as CEO.
Rüedi is a medical doctor. He studied medicine at the universities of Fribourg and Bern and holds an Executive Master in Medical Management and an Executive MBA.
