Manuk Hergnyan

Manuk Hergnyan is managing partner of Hermenica Capital, which manages the Hermenica Deep Tech Fund I, set up in 2026. He also co-founded Granatus Ventures in Armenia in 2013 and is its managing partner. Granatus describes itself as the country's first venture capital firm, and its portfolio includes CodeSignal, Krisp, SuperAnnotate and SoloLearn.

Before turning to venture capital he founded EV Consulting, a management advisory and corporate finance firm with offices in Yerevan and Moscow. He chairs the Economy and Values Research Center in Yerevan.

Hergnyan studied economics at Yerevan State University and holds a PhD in economics from Moscow State University and an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford. He has served on the boards of the Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia and Dilijan Central School and is a member of the Ayb Club and the 5165 Club.
