About Lukas
Lukas Züst is a partner in the corporate and commercial team of the Swiss law firm VISCHER and has headed its China Desk since 2016. He became a partner in 2024. His practice covers foreign direct investment, M&A, joint ventures, distribution and agency agreements and licensing, mainly for companies in consumer goods, food, technology, pharma and medtech.
He has focused on the Chinese market since 2006 and spent five years working as a foreign lawyer in Shanghai. He holds an LL.M. in international business law, completed in Singapore and China, and finished a postgraduate programme in international business law at East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai in 2007. He works in German, English and Mandarin.
Züst sits on the board of the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and has mentored Swiss start-ups at the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Dalian.
