Co-CEO and Co-Founder at UniteLabs

About Lukas

Lukas Bromig is co-CEO and co-founder of UniteLabs, a Munich company founded in early 2024 that builds an operating system for the biotech lab. Its software connects laboratory instruments from different manufacturers, and the company had around 40 such connectors when it raised a EUR 2.77 million pre-seed round in 2025, led by NAP. At UniteLabs he is responsible for product vision and strategy and leads customer success, implementation and technical sales.

Bromig studied chemical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, earning a bachelor's and a master's degree, and gained industry experience at Evonik during his studies. He then did his doctorate at TUM's Chair of Biochemical Engineering on the digitalisation and automation of industrial biotechnology. That work produced the first prototype of the UniteLabs platform. His peer-reviewed research includes work on controlling parallel bioreactors with the SiLA 2 standard.
