About Karin

Karin Lanz is the founder of LANUR, a Swiss brand of circular natural cosmetics, and a former television presenter. She has been developing the product line since 2015 and set up the company Lanz Natur AG in 2017.

LANUR's products and their packaging carry the Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold label. The brand describes itself as the first cosmetics line in the world to reach that standard across its whole range. Its first product was a lanolin repair balm. In 2025 LANUR won the Green Product Award of Future Club in Berlin, chosen from more than 1,500 entries from 45 countries.

Before LANUR, Lanz worked in Swiss television. From 1999 she presented formats on TV3, and in 2000 she co-hosted the first season of "Big Brother" in Switzerland with Dani Fohrler. From 2011 to 2014 she reported for the science programme "nano" on 3sat.
