About Joanna
Joanna Ledunger is founder and CEO of HealthyMentis, a Swiss start-up working on mental strength and resilience. Under the brand Healthy-Longer, the company analyses 21 neuro-biomarkers, including dopamine, serotonin and GABA, from urine samples collected at home and turns the results into a personalised nutrition plan. Its stated aim is to translate neurometabolic biology into tools for clinical decision-making.
According to the company, it signed an R&D agreement with Nestlé in 2023 and won a Vitafoods Europe award the same year. It then shifted its focus from wellness to medicine, with a pilot study involving 74 patients. In 2025 Ledunger took part in the Swissnex Medtech Startup Camp in Boston.
Before founding the company she worked for multinational companies in software development and later in risk analytics, including the analysis of health risks and longevity in insurance. She holds an MBA from the University of Warwick and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in genetics and genomics from Stanford School of Medicine.
