About Fabienne
Fabienne Limacher is a tax lawyer and Swiss certified tax expert who became a partner at Walder Wyss in January 2021. Working from Zurich, she advises on corporate tax, national and international restructurings, M&A and private equity transactions, real estate deals and cross-border relocations, as well as the taxation of financial and insurance products and of employee participation plans.
Limacher studied law at the University of Bern, graduating with an MLaw in 2010, and earned an LL.M. from the University of Sydney in 2018. She was admitted to the bar in 2012 and qualified as a certified tax expert in 2016. Earlier she was a research assistant at the Institute of Tax Law at the University of Bern and trained at the court and the public prosecutor's office of Nidwalden before joining Walder Wyss as an associate.
She sits on the board of Nidwaldner Kantonalbank and writes on Swiss corporate tax and venture capital, including Switzerland chapters for Chambers. Legal 500 EMEA 2026 names her a Next Generation Partner.
