
About Claudio
Claudio Bazzi is a partner at the law firm Bratschi and has chaired its board of directors since 2026. He works in financial market and corporate law, with a focus on regulatory questions, collective investment schemes and asset management, and he co-heads the firm's sports practice.
He began his career at Bär & Karrer, first as a trainee and then as an attorney, from 2008 to 2012, including a secondment to Bank Morgan Stanley. From 2014 to 2017 he was an economic affairs officer at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. He joined Bratschi in 2017 and became a partner in 2021.
He studied law at the University of Zurich, with a year at La Sapienza in Rome, and earned his doctorate in Zurich in 2015. He has been admitted to the bar since 2011. He is a member of the SECA Legal & Tax Chapter and of the Legal & Compliance Committee of the Asset Management Association Switzerland, and since 2019 he has headed the disciplinary commission of the regional football association in Zurich.
