About Christopher
Christopher Perkins heads Franklin Crypto, the crypto investment division that Franklin Templeton created in 2026 when it acquired 250 Digital Asset Management. He had led 250 Digital as CEO after it was spun out of CoinFund, which he joined in 2021 as managing partner and president.
Before moving into digital assets he spent 13 years at Citi as global co-head of futures, clearing and FX prime brokerage, and founded the bank's OTC clearing business. Earlier he was US head of derivatives intermediation at Lehman Brothers. His career began in the US Marine Corps, where he served for nine years and reached the rank of captain.
Perkins holds a BS from the US Naval Academy and an MA in national security studies from Georgetown University. In 2023 he was appointed to the CFTC's Global Markets Advisory Committee. He co-founded Veterans in Digital Assets and Veterans on Wall Street.
