Christine Schmid-Frey

Christine Schmid-Frey is Chief Investment Officer at Servisa Foundations in Basel, which brings together two Swiss collective pension foundations. Founded in 1973, Servisa insured about 79,000 people from some 4,600 companies in 2023 and managed around CHF 12 billion in assets. Schmid-Frey heads its investments and also sits on the Meridian Advisory Board.

Before Servisa she held senior positions at a global wealthtech company and at Credit Suisse, where she worked in global research and investment management. She has served on the boards of Swiss Sustainable Finance and InvestLab AG.

She holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Zurich, is a CFA charterholder and is an alumna of the Young Leaders programme of the Swiss American Foundation. In Servisa's 2025 newsletter she described ESG criteria as part of professional risk management for a pension fund.
