Beatriz Martin

Beatriz Martin is Group Chief Operating Officer of UBS and a member of its Group Executive Board. In this role, which she took up in 2026, she is responsible for Group Technology and Group Operations and for completing the Credit Suisse integration. She is also President of UBS Europe, Middle East and Africa and Head of Non-core and Legacy.

She joined UBS in 2012 as chief of staff to the CEO of the Investment Bank. From 2015 to 2020 she was the Investment Bank's chief operating officer, and since 2019 she has been UK Chief Executive of UBS AG London Branch. She served as Group Treasurer from 2020 to 2023 and as Chief Transformation Officer from 2022 to 2023. Between 2024 and 2026 she was the Executive Board's lead for sustainability and impact.

Before UBS she spent sixteen years in global markets at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank. She holds an MBA from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and took part in the Erasmus exchange at the Hochschule für Bankwirtschaft in Frankfurt. She sits on the boards of UBS Business Solutions, UBS Europe SE and Credit Suisse International.
