
About Anne
Anne Mirjam Schneuwly is a lawyer and legal scholar at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), where she works on implementing Switzerland's Investment Screening Act. She holds the academic title of Privatdozentin.
Her research covers foreign direct investment. In 2023 she wrote in Jusletter about investment controls in takeovers of systemically important banks. Her earlier work dealt with dispute resolution and corporate responsibility. She co-wrote a textbook on alternative dispute resolution, published by Dike in 2021, and her doctoral thesis at the University of Fribourg, published in 2012, examined transnational soft law on corporate social responsibility.
She is admitted as an attorney and, alongside her law degree and doctorate, holds an Executive Master of Business Law from the University of St. Gallen.
