Anna Rosling Rönnlund co-founded Gapminder in 2005 together with Hans Rosling and Ola Rosling. She is its vice president and head of design and user experience and sits on its board.
She designed the user interface of Trendalyzer, Gapminder's animated bubble-chart tool, which Google later acquired. From 2007 to 2010 she worked at Google in Mountain View as senior usability designer on Public Data and the Motion Chart in Google Spreadsheets, before returning to Gapminder.
She created Dollar Street, a collection of photos and video clips that shows how families live at different income levels around the world. She co-wrote the book Factfulness with Hans and Ola Rosling, published in 2018, and has given TEDx talks. She holds a master's degree in sociology and a bachelor's degree in photography.
