Alexandre Gachet is a corporate and M&A lawyer in Lausanne and a partner of Kellerhals Carrard, where he has practised since 2012. His work covers start-up financing and fundraising, employee incentive plans, corporate restructurings and liquidations, and insolvency.
He trained at Carrard & Associés from 2008, was admitted to the Vaud bar in 2010 and then worked there as an attorney. In 2011 he was an associate at O'Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles. Before his legal training he worked at the audit and consulting firm BDO Visura from 2006 to 2008.
Gachet has been a director of Carrard Consulting SA since 2014 and co-founded Seed Up in 2017. He studied law at the University of Lausanne, graduating in 2004, and earned an LL.M. in business law from the universities of Geneva and Lausanne in 2006. He works in French and English and is a member of the Swiss LegalTech Association and of AIJA, the International Association of Young Lawyers.
