Wenger Vieli

Wenger Vieli is a Swiss business law firm with offices in Zurich and Zug. Jean-Claude Wenger and Lelio Vieli founded it in 1971. The firm opened its Zug office in 1999, merged with Belser Altorfer & Partner in 2001 and has been a stock corporation since 2009.

Its lawyers and tax advisers work on corporate and commercial law, M&A, tax, compliance, investigations, notarial matters and private wealth. In 2021 the firm had 125 staff, among them 22 partners.

Venture capital is a practice of its own, and a start-up desk looks after young companies. Wenger Vieli is the legal desk partner of the Swiss Startup Association. Its lawyers also lead workshops for founders, for example on term sheets, employee stock option plans and spinning out of a university.
