VISCHER

VISCHER is a Swiss law and tax firm with offices in Zurich, Basel and Geneva. Its roots go back to 1857, when the advocacy and notary office Lichtenhahn & Heusler was founded in Basel. Since 2009 the firm has been organised as a company limited by shares, VISCHER AG, with its head office in Zurich.

The firm advises companies, institutions and private clients on transactions, disputes and compliance. In 2026 its website listed more than 100 legal and tax experts and over 220 employees across its offices.

Two desks serve particular client groups. The Startup Desk, with contacts in Zurich and Basel, works with young companies. The China Desk, led by a partner who works in German, English and Mandarin, advises on business between Switzerland and China. VISCHER is a gold partner of the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) and has held several events with the chamber, including Lunch & Learn sessions at its Zurich office.
