Swisspreneur

Swisspreneur is a non-profit association that promotes entrepreneurship in Switzerland. It grew out of an initiative that Alain Chuard and Christian Hirsig started in 2014, and the association was founded in 2016. In 2025 it ran largely on volunteers, with Google, UBS and Properti among its funders.

It produces a podcast with Swiss founders and investors. By March 2025 around 480 episodes had come out. Swisspreneur also offers free masterclasses, an investment syndicate, the Swiss Startup Mafia Map and the Scaleup Circle, a community run by operators of growing companies.

Its Founders' Dinners seat 30 to 40 founders and investors who apply for a place. The Scaleup Cruise takes 150 to 180 people out on Lake Zurich for an evening of panels and networking.
