Swiss Health Angels

Swiss Health Angels is a non-profit association of business angels based in Basel. Its members invest in early-stage healthcare companies in Europe, in therapeutics, diagnostics, medtech and digital health. The association was previously known as Go Beyond.

Members invest through equity or loans. They carry out due diligence on the companies, mentor founders and connect them with other investors. Startups apply through an online form. In 2026 its website listed around 20 portfolio companies.

The network around Swiss Health Angels includes EIT Health, Angels Santé, Impact Hub Basel, Swiss Healthcare Startups and the universities of Basel and Zurich. The association is run on a voluntary basis by a five-member board. Members meet in person once or twice a year, including at the annual general meeting.
