About Swiss Banking Academy
The Swiss Banking Academy is the knowledge and training platform of the Swiss Bankers Association (SBA). It went online in January 2023 and is run by the association's education team.
Its audience is people working in Swiss banks and the wider financial sector, from client advisers and specialists to managers. In 2025 most participants came from the association's member banks.
The academy mainly offers webinars and specialist seminars. Topics include banking fundamentals, tax, open finance, sustainable finance and current issues in the industry. Recordings of past sessions stay available, and newer formats include an AI learning path and monthly specials on subjects like pensions and deposit protection. In 2025 the academy held 38 events with about 4,000 participants.
The Swiss Bankers Association was founded in 1912 and is based in Basel.
