About Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce
The Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce, known as Swiss AmCham, works for closer business relations between the United States and Switzerland. It was founded in 1967 and is based in Zurich.
Its policy work deals with rules that affect the flow of goods, services, investment and people between the two countries. Boards and committees cover tax, financial services, public affairs and legal questions, as well as doing business in each country. The chamber is active in all three main language regions of Switzerland, with chapter boards for the Lake Geneva region and Ticino, and it has chapters in the United States, among them New York, Boston and San Francisco.
Every year it publishes a yearbook with its member directory and figures on Swiss-US business. Events include fireside chats with business leaders, a corporate tax symposium and an annual dinner in Ticino.
