startup space

startup space is a campus for startups and young companies in Schlieren near Zurich, with offices, coworking desks and event rooms. It is a project of IFJ Institut für Jungunternehmen AG in St. Gallen and has operated since 2016.

The building on Wiesenstrasse covers 4,500 square metres. It offers private offices, fixed and flexible desks, meeting rooms and a restaurant. An event hall and an atrium, each seating up to 350 people and holding up to 500 at standing receptions, make it a venue for conferences and trainings as well.

Venturelab, which runs the Innosuisse start-up trainings, is based at startup space and has held several of its Business Creation courses there. In 2026 a second location opened in Etoy, between Lausanne and Geneva, and a third is due to open in Uzwil in eastern Switzerland.
