SICTIC

About SICTIC

SICTIC is a non-profit network of business angels who invest in early-stage startups based in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Founded in 2014, it has offices in Zurich, Lausanne and Ticino. Until 2023 it used the full name Swiss ICT Investor Club.

Members invest individually and directly. SICTIC charges no commission, finder's fee or management fee, and new investors are admitted by the board. The network started out with ICT and fintech. In 2023 it opened up to healthtech, medtech, foodtech and cleantech startups as well.

Its core format is the SICTIC Investor Day, where selected startups pitch to an audience of investors at changing partner venues. It goes back to an ICT investor day first held in 2010. The SICTIC Academy adds masterclasses and webinars for angels, and the network has published a free Swiss Angel Investor Handbook.
