OBT

OBT is a Swiss firm for fiduciary services, auditing, tax and legal advice, business consulting and IT solutions, working mainly for SMEs. It was founded in 1972 in St. Gallen as a subsidiary of the Ostschweizer Bürgschafts- und Treuhand Genossenschaft, and it has its head office there.

Since 1998 OBT has been owned by partners who work in the company. It has eleven offices, among them St. Gallen, Zurich, Basel and Lucerne, and is a member of EXPERTsuisse and Baker Tilly International. Its IT services include Abacus software and cloud solutions.

In 2017 OBT and the Swiss Institute for SMEs and Entrepreneurship at the University of St.Gallen (KMU-HSG) launched the VR-Symposium for board members of SMEs.
