About Lucerne Dialogue
Lucerne Dialogue is a non-profit association in Lucerne that brings business leaders together to strengthen Europe, with an open Switzerland at its centre. It was founded in 1996 as Europa Forum Luzern, after Switzerland's rejection of the European Economic Area in 1992. Its founders included the canton and city of Lucerne. The association took its current name in 2023.
Its annual European Economic Forum takes place at the KKL Luzern. Besides the forum, Lucerne Dialogue runs communities such as a leadership programme, a fellows programme and a patrons' circle, and it publishes insights on European and Swiss business topics. Marcel Stalder has been its president since 2019.
