About IFBC
IFBC is an independent Swiss advisory firm for mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance, based in Zurich. The name stands for Integrated Financial Business Consulting. The firm started as a spin-off of the University of Zurich, and its legal entity is IFBC AG.
Its services cover M&A advice, financial due diligence, equity capital markets, debt advisory, valuation and financial modelling, value-based management and fairness opinions. The Swiss Takeover Board recognised IFBC as a provider of fairness opinions in 2012. For cross-border transactions IFBC has been part of Globalscope Partners, an international network of M&A advisers, since 2016. Its mandates in 2026 included a fairness opinion on Temenos's acquisition of additiv, another for PolyPeptide, and advice to Isochronic on its sale to Bystronic.
IFBC publishes market analyses such as the IFBC Tech Transactions Monitor. It is the Financial Leadership Excellence Partner of the Schweizerische Management Gesellschaft (SMG), for whose members it runs Business Exchange events on financial management and M&A, and it teaches a seminar on company valuation for University of Zurich students.
