HORMETA

HORMETA is a Swiss skincare company based in Gilly, in the La Côte region of the Canton of Vaud. The chemist and herbalist Maurice Chaponnier founded it in 1949, and his son Jean-François Chaponnier later continued the business. In 2014 the Bouchara family took it over.

The brand calls its approach oligocosmetics. Its formulas are built around a trace-element complex of its own, Oligocos-5. Product lines include HormeTIME, HormeGOLD, HormeLINE, HormeDIAMOND, HormeSOFT and HormeSUN.

HORMETA manufactures in Switzerland and is a member of Swisscos. It sells through its own online shops for Switzerland and France and through points of sale in other countries. The company is also a member of the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SCCC).
