Helbling

Helbling is a Swiss engineering and consulting group. Its business units cover business advisory, owner consulting, building and energy technology, product lifecycle management, technology and product development, and industrialisation.

Max J. Helbling founded the company in 1963 as a two-person office in Zurich. Since 1988 the group has been owned by its managing partners and employees. Its head office is in Zurich, with further offices in Aarau, Bern and Wil SG as well as in Germany, Poland, the United States and China. In 2025 it reported sales of CHF 119.7 million.

Together with Venturelab, Helbling runs programmes for technology startups, such as the Helbling MVP Bootcamp, where founders get technical feedback on risks and development bottlenecks.
