About digitalswitzerland
digitalswitzerland is a cross-sector initiative that aims to make Switzerland a strong location for digital business, with a high quality of life for all. The association is based in Zurich and has an office in Bern.
It began in September 2015 as DigitalZurich2025, initiated by Marc Walder of Ringier, and took its present name in 2016 when it expanded nationwide. In 2020 it merged with ICTswitzerland.
Its work covers cross-sector initiatives such as the Swiss AI Action Plan, political dialogue, including the Parliamentary Group Cyber, digital education, for example an AI playbook for SMEs, and events such as the Digital Gipfel Schweiz. With the Swiss Data Alliance it co-organises the Swiss Data Space Forum.
