Crypto Valley Association

The Crypto Valley Association (CVA) is a not-for-profit association in Zug that works to strengthen the global blockchain economy. It was founded in March 2017. Its founding members included UBS, PwC, ConsenSys, Thomson Reuters, Luxoft and the canton and city of Zug.

Members are individuals, startups, SMEs and larger companies. Ten working groups deal with topics such as regulation, AML and compliance, cybersecurity, tax and accounting, and on-chain finance. In 2017 the association held a roundtable with FINMA on the classification of tokens, and it supported the Swiss DLT law of 2021.

Its own events include the annual Crypto Valley Conference, a Web3 Banking Symposium and events for members and working groups.
