Building Bridges

Building Bridges is a sustainable finance initiative in Geneva. Each year it brings the financial sector, international organisations, NGOs and public authorities together for several days of events, opened by a summit.

It started in 2019 as a joint initiative of different stakeholders in Geneva. Since October 2023 it has been run by a foundation, Fondation Building Bridges, chaired by Patrick Odier. Its founding partners include the Asset Management Association Switzerland, Swiss Banking, Swiss Sustainable Finance, Sustainable Finance Geneva, UN Geneva, UNEP FI, the WBCSD, the Swiss Confederation and the canton and city of Geneva.

Partner events, such as a conference of the Swiss Finance Institute and Swiss Sustainable Finance, are held in association with Building Bridges.
