Asset Management Association Switzerland

The Asset Management Association Switzerland (AMAS) represents the Swiss asset management industry. The association is based in Basel and has further offices in Zurich and Geneva.

It traces its founding to 1992. AMAS took its present form in September 2020, when the Swiss Funds & Asset Management Association (SFAMA) merged with the Asset Management Platform Switzerland. The association speaks for the industry towards politics and regulators, sets industry standards and self-regulation, and offers training for members. Its expert work covers funds, tax, private markets, sustainability and technology.

AMAS is a member of the European fund association EFAMA and the Swiss Finance Council. Its own events include the Asset Management Day, specialist days on risk management and performance standards, and networking breakfasts for women in asset management. In 2026 AMAS and SECA became members of each other.
